This surge of success seems to be gaining momentum and Lady Gaga has to date sold a staggering four million copies of The Fame and 20 million digital singles.

She has been compared to a young Queen of Pop Madonna although Gaga has been vocal in her style being inspired by the likes of glam rock stars like David Bowie.
