Carrie Underwood promoting new album, ‘Play On’

It looks like singer Carrie Underwood, who shot to fame after winning the fourth season of “American Idol,” is certainly going to be kept busy in the next few weeks. Carrie will soon be making numerous TV appearances, to promote her new album “Play On.”
According to usatoday.com, Carrie will be starting off by performing on the “Late Show with David Letterman” tonight. This will be followed, by an outdoor concert at New York’s Lincoln Center on Tuesday morning, for “Good Morning America.”
Carrie’s fans will then be able to see her and label mate Brad Paisley, hosting the 43rd Country Music Association Awards on November 11th. Carrie is also nominated in two categories at this year’s awards, including female vocalist of the year.
Then on December 7th, she has her very own, two-hour Fox variety show that is called “Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special.” Carrie’s new album “Play On,” which is her third album now, is due for release on Tuesday, November 3rd.
