Elton John Postpones Concerts Due to the Flu

A lot of Sir Elton John fans may have been left feeling slightly disappointed recently, when the British musician was unfortunately forced to postpone a number of his concerts. According to people.com, the reason for this was the flu.

Elton is said to be in a London hospital at the moment, getting treatment for influenza and the E-Coli bacterial infection. This has unfortunately forced him to postpone dates in Seattle and Portland, which are part of his current tour that co-stars Billy Joel.

And apparently, these aren’t the only dates Sir Elton has postponed. He had previously had to postpone dates in Newcastle, Sheffield, Liverpool and London. And only last Thursday, he had to shelve a performance in Dublin as well.
