Quarterback Brett Favre made his first return to Lambeau field yesterday and was greeted by booing from the Packers fans. But that didn’t put a damper on Brett’s performance at all and he went on to throw four touchdown passes.
Favre’s 17 of 28 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns helped his current team, which is the Minnesota Vikings, to a 38-26 victory over his former team, the Green Bay Packers. Favre played for the Packers for 16 years.
Adrian Peterson rushed for 97 yards and a score on 25 carries for the Minnesota Vikings, who are off to their best start since the 2000 season. Percy Harvin grabbed 5 passes for 84 yards and returned five kickoffs for 175 yards.
