It was the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons that were playing in last night’s Monday Night Football game. And it was a successful night for the Saints, as they took their winning run in the NFL to seven last night, after beating the Falcons 35-27.
According to dailymail.co.uk, the Saints win was helped along a little by Pierre Thomas, who scored two touchdowns. And in the second quarter, Jabari Greer, Reggie Bush and Marques Colston all scored touchdowns for the New Orleans Saints as well.

Drew Brees can’t go without a mention either, as he racked up 308 yards passing, to set up the Saints victory. The Falcons didn’t go without trying though. With only a few seconds left, Matt Ryan threw an ambitious pass, but it was intercepted.
Both Michael Turner and Kroy Biermann scored touchdowns in the first quarter, putting Atlanta into a 14-7 lead. But with Colston’s, Bush’s and Greer’s touchdowns in the second quarter of the game, it helped the New Orleans Saints storm 28-14 ahead.
