Alec Baldwin denies responsibility for Lil Wayne cake

When a photo of Ireland Baldwin’s 14th birthday cake, which just happened to be in the shape of rapper Lil Wayne, managed to surface on the Internet last week, it impressed a lot of people, including the people at nymag.com.

They even applauded her father, actor Alec Baldwin’s excellent fathering. But it appears that he had nothing to do with it. When he was asked about it at the This is Tisch! Gala that took place last night, Alec said “A Lil Wayne what?”

Alec said that he didn’t buy it for her and doesn’t know where it came from. He then went on to say that he has taken that idea and will buy her one next year. When asked if he listens to Lil Wayne, Alec said “No, no, no, no.”
