Last night, viewers got to see the remake of the classic 1983 miniseries “V” premiere. And for those of you who haven’t seen it before, it is a science-fiction program that is all about the arrival of alien Visitors to Earth.
Both the original and the remake remain the same, with both sharing the arrival of the alien Visitors who promise technological salvation to humanity’s problems. But episode 1 showed us where the differences are.
The pilot episode ripped through a substantial amount of lot, to focus more on establishing its large cast of characters and the resistance movements. In the very opening sequence, we see the Visitor ships appearing.
One change which was noticeable was the fact that they have tried to make the aliens look more human than in the 1983 original. So did you watch last night’s pilot episode and if you did, will you carry on watching?
