Remakes of classic TV shows such as “Knight Rider” and “Bionic Woman,” have one thing in common. And that one thing is that many of them have failed to impress the audiences, therefore not doing as well as the makers had hoped.
And there appears to be yet another remake of a classic show, that is about to premiere today. And the show that I am talking about is “V.” Obviously it is too soon to tell at the moment, whether it will go the same way as the others, or be a hit.
Elizabeth Mitchell, who many of you will know from “Lost,” plays the lead character Erica Evans, who is an FBI Counter Terrorist Agent. Supporting characters include reporter Chad (Scott Wolf), Father Jack (Joel Gretsch) and Ryan (Morris Chestnut).
But one thing has to be said about the new “V” series, and that is the fact that with several plot threads from the start, the very first episode should intrigue the audiences enough to carry on watching. So this series looks quite promising.

yeah, but was Knight Rider a right wing propaganda show? I think big hit is unlikely at this point.
