Ashlee Simpson unpopular with castmates

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has been booted off TV show Melrose Place due to her “embarrassingly bad” acting, and being a “total diva” on the US show.

It is claimed that the star would always turn up late, and was deeply disliked by fellow cast members on the show. “Ashlee was kicked off Melrose Place because she was a total diva on set” said a source.

The source also pointed out the reason that Ashlee had been dropped from the show was to make way for Heather Locklear to reprise her role. Citing; “They basically trimmed the fat and made it possible for Heather to join the show,” said the source. “Heather is a much bigger name than Ashlee.”

According to US Weekly magazine, the only reason she was hired in the first place was to help the programme create a buzz.

Maybe she should go back to singing? But she is no good at that either.
