Sesame Street Anniversary: It’s the Cookie Monster

As many of you will be aware by now, Google has once again changed the logo on their homepage in celebration of Sesame Street’s 40th Anniversary.

As reported from Guardian, the logo has now been changed to the much loved Cookie Monster, who can be seen taking a bite out of the Google logo.

It is thought that the Google logo varies depending on your region, so you could well see a different Sesame Street character in your area. We are hearing that the U.S and Canadian websites will feature the legs of Big Bird.

As we mentioned in an earlier report, Sesame Street will be kicking off the celebrations on November 10th, when the new season gets underway, so don’t forget to tune in.

What appears on your Google homepage? It will be interesting to see how many varieties of character there are.

Cookie has a special place in my heart. Not only did I have a cookie monster cookie jar, but my 2nd child’s favorite stuffie was Cookie Monster. Much loved and fondly remembered.
