Susan Boyle ‘I dreamed a Dream’: Best album for November?

As most of you will be aware, singing sensation Susan Boyle will be releasing her debut album, I Dreamed a Dream – expected to be released at the end of the month on November 23rd.
With other albums expected from big name artists such as Leona Lewis, Robbie Williams and 50 Cent, do you think Susan’s album is the one that fans are expecting the most?
As stated here over at MSN, they seem to think that Boyle’s I Dreamed a Dream album’ will be one of the front runners, even though her popularity seems to have died down recently.
Have you pre-ordered her album already? What do you think her chances are of walking away with the most record sales for November / December?

Popularity died down , have you been living under a rock? Susan’s album is, a month ahead of release, the most pre ordered album on Amazon USA, EVER, and the most pre ordered album, world wide, in history! The demand for tickets for her Christmas show is colossal, they are like gold dust; she is also going on X factor and on the BBC’s Children In Need; her Single Wild Horses has been described by Mick Jagger has hauntingly beautiful and better than anything he had done and has been single of the Week on BBC radio. Elaine Paige has this week gone on record, yet again, exalting Susan’s “glorious voice”, and she has also been endorsed by Michael Buble, and Michael Ball(UK musical theatre star) who described her as “something special”. Anyone who has heard the previews on her official site knows this is an amazing, and eclectic, mix of songs, and that Susan is going to set new records in the record book yet again, and wow the world over and over.
I think I have been living under a rock when you put it like that!
Dont get me wrong, I am a fan of hers, I just haven’t heard too much about her after her experiences on BGT.

What makes you say her popularity had died down? She broke the alltime presales record at Amazon.com with a month still to go for her presales. She’s been in the top 10 at Amazon.com and Amazon.ca since her listing. She has a lot of appearances coming this month and next, and YES she will have the biggest album in November.
To all who haven’t been following her as closely as her fansites, be aware that Susan Boyle has not “died down”. Her preorder album sales have set a record on Amazon.com, she will be singing at Rockefeller Center on November 23, she has a scheduled Christmas Show – I could go on and on.
Her DVD will be featured on QVC tonight. Susan is very much on track with her career and is achieving her dream in record time. Will her album be the best in November? Well of course – it already is! She is the brightest star in the universe.
I think that Susan Boyle’s album will do really well.

I wasn’t aware that Susan’s popularity had died. If anything, I thought it had picked up at least since her release of Wild Horses. Where have you been???? I predict that once this cd hits the stores all over the world, it will be like a cd tidal wave so far as sales go! She could easily win November and December — and on from there! From what I’ve heard of the 30-second clips of her tracks provided by Amazon, her voice is incredible on this album and her choice of songs is outstanding. This could well be a blockbuster of huge proportions.
Susan Boyle just sold out 10000 copies of her CD on QVC in ten minutes this evening.

Let me get this right,10,000 dvd’s and cd’s gone in an hr on qvc,world record holder for pre-orders on amazon,340 million video views.who are you kidding.wild horses voted the best cover of all time .i dreamed a dream voted the best cover of all time,cry me a river voted the best cover of all time.she will sell more in her tea break than the rest will between them.If msn think her popularity has waned,They need to go back to the doctors as the tablets they were given first time around are evidently not working
Go to Youtube and see how many 1000,s are waiting for her cd and then come back and tell me interest has waned
By the way we know of one person that has ordered 150 and sales would have smashed all records if it was not for the fact that amazon.com restricted everyone to 3 copies.
Hard to believe that you are in the entertainment field. Sorry to hear that your tv and computer are broken, hope they are fixed soon.
At any rate………the question. I predict Susan’s album will be one of the biggest of 2009. Check out the bestseller and hot new releases lists on Amazon.ca; Amazon.com and Amazon.uk, as well as Barnes and Noble. The public are hungry for singers who sing. There are plenty who add notes where none are needed, scream and jump around. Few who simply and beautifully sing….that is Susan Boyle.
I’ve pre-ordered on amazon.com & amazon.jp, as the Japanese version has an extra song “Wings to Fly” on it. Couldn’t order from QVC, since they sold out their 10,000 copies in 10 minutes, but I expect they’ll order more for a second sale. The only real question about Susan’s sales is how soon they’ll go platinum.
You have got to be kidding! Popularity died down? SusaFans are only storming Amazon and other sites trying to buy CDs and get more info but the CD is not reportedly being produced also by Integrity to be placed into Christian bookstores. An unbelievable number of people are going to find SusaCDs in their Christmas stockings. LOL in fact I just glanced at the top of this site because it occurred to me… this kind of stuff MUST have been written in the UK where the press seems to find it so popular to find a way to “trash” Susan… LOL sure enough! If you think her popularity is anywhere close to dying down you obviously have not been in America lately. How unfortunate that Susan’s home country doesn’t love and support her properly; but hey we here in USA will be most happy to “take” her.

It is a big, wide entertainment world out there just full of “stuff”, but it is easy to Goggle Susan Boyle and find the facts (preferably before making a statement that gets you bombarded). Better yet, get thee to the Forum.Susan-Boyle.com fan site (and numerous other smaller sites)and prepare to see “what’s happening now.”

Let me see now, biggest pre ordered album in history; sold out on QVC in 1 minutes; chosen to sing the theme song for the latest Anime film(quite an honour); singing Smile on Children In Need; Given her own TV show in the UK which is described by ITV bosses as the “JEWEL” in their TV viewing christmas crown; singing on French TV in mid November; back in the USA for thanksgiving week and doing several major chat shows as well at a concert in The Plaza in New York. Yep it sure sounds like her popularity is waning to me. Jeez. Rolls eyes and goes back to listening to Wild Horses, and by the way Mick Jagger is absolutely right. It is breathtakingly beautiful.
Susan’s album will be #1 in November as well as #1 for the year ! She will break all records and be off the charts! Susan’s fans not only buy her album for themselves they buy one for everyone they know!
