It has emerged today, that the X Factor reshuffle of seats that saw Dannii Minogue moved to the end of the judging panel, on Saturday night is a permanent one, and Dannii was furious after she was given just five minutes notice by producers.
The Australia signer, 38, was angry that she had to swap seats with Louis Walsh. And even after making it clear to her bosses, that she was unhappy with the move after the show finished, she is expected to remain in the spot for the rest of the series. Minogue had the prime seat next to Simon Cowell, when she first joined the X Factor in 2007.
When Cheryl Cole, 26, joined the show last year, she was given that seat and Miss Minogue was moved to the middle of the panel. Apparently the producers like the banter between Simon and Louis and wanted to move Louis up the panel. The producers also felt that Dannii and Simon give constructive comments on the show, so they would make good bookends.
A source close to Miss Minogue said: “Danni has been upset and did complain to the bosses after the show, that she thought it was an undignified way to behave to break the news just before she went on air, but everyone is telling her that she should not take it so personally.” To read more on this story go to dailymail.co.uk.
