Yankees Parade Route and Schedule

In celebration of the New York Yankees winning the 2009 World Series yesterday, a parade has been organized. According to apakistannews.com, the parade will take place on Friday, November 6th and will proceed through the Canyon of Heroes.

The parade is said to start off on Broadway at Battery Place at approximately 11 am, and go through the Canyon of Heroes, to Chambers Street. The Yankees team will then be presented with the Keys to the City, by New York City Mayor Bloomberg.

And the sidewalks along the Yankees Parade route will be open to members of the public, so the fans can cheer their winning home team. There is not a lot of room on City Hall Plaza, so a large screen will be set up near City Hall Park as well.
