The 10th Annual Latin Grammy Awards took place yesterday, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and it was Puerto Rican hip hop duo Calle 13 that came out quite victorious at yesterday’s event, winning awards in four categories.
According to reports from examiner.com, Calle 13, who is widely known for their edgy urban sounds, received awards in categories that included Best Urban Album of the Year, Best Record of the Year and Best Short Video of the year.

Other winners at last night’s event include Puerto Rican pop singer Luis Fonsi, who bagged an award for Best Song of the Year. And Juan Gabriel, the Mexican singer-songwriter, was honored as the Latin Recording Academy’s Person of the Year.
