Sesame Street 40th Anniversary: Bert and Ernie hit the spotlight

Another day, another of your favourite Sesame Street character featured on the Google homepage. In this case, it’s character(s) as its none other than Bert and Ernie, two of the show’s best loved characters.

As reported from HuffingtonPost, the Sesame Street Google ‘doodles’ are in celebration of the show’s 40th Anniversary, with a special episode due on November 10th, featuring a whole host of celebrities who are keen to join in on the fun.

After we have had Big Bird’s Legs, the Cookie Monster and now Bert and Ernie, which Sesame Street Character will be next? Our guesses are either Elmo, Kermit the Frog or Oscar the Grouch.
