Jackson Family Get Debut Date For Reality TV Series

There has been talk of the Jackson family getting their own reality TV series for quite a while now, but we didn’t know any more information. And now, it appears that A&E has officially unveiled a debut date for the Jackson brothers long-in-the-works reality show.

According to reports from eonline.com, filming for the upcoming series, which is to be called “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty,” actually began almost a year ago. The project was put on hold, after Michael Jackson scuttled a possible Jacksons reunion concert.

The project then got renewed interest, after Michael Jackson’s untimely death back in June. Producers then tried to retool the series, so it included the family’s reaction to Michael’s passing. It is unsure if we will see video of Michael’s 3 children, Janet or Katherine Jackson.

“The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty,” which focuses on the King of Pop’s siblings and their respective families, will be premiering on December 13th with back-to-back hour-long installments. And the reports say that the series will run a total of six episodes.
