Joe Jackson and stipend from Michael Jackson’s Estate‎

According to court documents, Michael Jackson’s father is seeking an allowance from his son’s estate to help cover expenses that exceed $15,000 a month, according to court documents.

Lawyer Brian Oxman filed a request seeking an unspecified amount for Joe Jackson was who said there was no apparent reason for the administrators of the estate to not seek an allowance for the 81-year-old Jackson. However, Michael Jackson’s 2002 will only called for money to be paid to his mother, Katherine, his three young children, and various charities.

I think it is appropriate to give Michael’s elderly father a stipend for his expenses. It is honorable to provide for one’s parents in old age if possible. And Michael was an honorable man, as we all know. Michael knew his father does not act responsible with money, so he gave the money to his mother because he knew she would do the right thing for the whole family, but right now she gets only a stipend herself. In his movie, Michael openly professed his love for both his parents and in the past his forgiveness for his father. But, he didn’t trust him with handling money, so he gave that responsibility to Katherine.
