Kris Allen Debuts Video for ‘Live Like We’re Dying’

We haven’t really heard much about singer Kris Allen since winning “American Idol.” All the news has been about runner-up Adam Lambert. But for all of you Kris Allen fans out there, we now have some news about the season 8 winner.

According to eonline.com, Kris has recently unveiled the video for his first single, which is called “Live Like We’re Dying.” Don’t worry if you haven’t seen the video yet, as we have it below this post so you can check it out for yourself.

As you will be able to see from the video, the guitar-wielding Allen is performing his new song in the middle of the desert, on a huge digital clock. While he is singing, there is torn and tattered curtains blowing in the wind around him.

    I love Kris’ new video. I also love that 19 Entertainment is finally giving the idol grads a nice budget to create a competitive video. This one looks like they actually spent more than a $1.98 to produce.
    It is a great video for a song that MTV rock editor, James Montgomery, has declared to be a smash hit.

    Although I am an Adam fan, I really like both this song and the video that goes with it. I would like to hear Adam, Kris and Allison on the radio instead of that dreadful “Fireflies” garbage that is #1 now.

    No kidding Adambomb, that Fireflies song is about as retarded as it gets. Who gets a song like that airplay?? I have to turn it off whenever it comes on. YUK!!

    Yey! Am also a David Cook fan. I love DC. Anyway, I tried listening to the song and watching the video. I think it is so so only. I was kinda expecting more from this. Fail. Well i will just have to stick with DC and other idols then.

    The video’s great… it could have been cheesy and it isn’t in the least… Kris has good taste and I’m glad his label is realizing it…By the way, what makes you think there has been no news on Kris? I google his name every day and there has been something new to read about him each time…perhaps it’s in your definition of news…

    Well done, but already done better by the Script. How his first single could be an almost exact replica of one already done , albeit a “B” side, is to me, a bad move. Success sans originality; not a winning combination.

    Wow, I’m impressed, I am a huge Adam fan, and I am proud of Kris , this is very good and he sounds great, I just went and bought it on itunes. Way to go Kris, I love Kradam and wish so very much that all fans would just get along, like Adam and Kris do and like they have asked everyone to, they are both different artists and I hope they both do really well. Love you guys!!!

    Hey AdamBomb and Lynn. If you do not like Owl City fine but that does not give you the right to bash it. Fireflies is a hit because its fcking great. And dont even get me started talking about this single Live like were dying. The song is great but its exactly the same as The Script version.
    Adam Young is a talent young man. He writes, composes and sings hes own music. He never expected his music to be this famous. His fan base is 10 times bigger than Kris, Alison or even Adam.
    I am a huge Adam Lambert fan but sometimes you Glamberts are annoying as hell.

    Kris Allen is a true artist and this video is very artsy and classy. I hear good new about Kris every day, so don’t know where you get that there hasn’t been news about Kris. As for the haters, your loss! Kris will be around making awesome music for a long time.

    Absolutely Charisse!! You shouldn’t debut by covering somebody else’s song. Is anybody but me listening to Adam Lambert?? Greatest male voice I’ve heard in a very long time…And just a wonderfuld person inside and out. Can’t wait for FYE TO DROP.

    single on my Ipod..unreal, it’s that fantastic. Adam Lambert’s talent is second to none. And when did covers, he knew enough to put his own unique spin on them.

    I like it, but I think Adam and Kris should do a video together. I miss the chemistry they had with each other. We shouldn’t compare Adam and Kris. They are very dfferent, but equally adorable. Well maybe Adam is more adorable, but I do like Kris.

    I don’t get it why Kris has to have the props of holding a mike, strumming the guitar and the piano in this video when they are simply UNNECESSARY??? There is no audience. The guitar and piano sounds are not distinct for their presence to be ubiquitous in this video. Why not let Kris act through the video instead of having the props??? Does it mean that there will be no way to see Kris ever without the guitar and piano or even the mike to hold on to??? FAIL!
