Cheryl Cole’s wedding ring is missing the X Factor

Cheryl Cole appeared on X factor without a wedding ring, her friends claim the marriage to Ashley is doomed. Cheryl Cole spends weeks planning her X Factor outfits in detail, from the shoes she wears right down to her nail varnish.

However this week a vital part of her wardrobe was missing the diamond rock on her left hand. The ring that is worth £160,000, which her Chelsea footballer husband Ashley Cole bought her to replace her wedding ring, only reappeared in public in September after nine months in her drawer.

It is nearly a year since Aimee Walton a single mother claimed she had slept with 28-year-old Ashley, after a drunken night out. Cheryl, 26, has been trying hard to overcome the bitter hurt she felt on learning of his infidelity. Ashley has spent more than £250,000 on jewellery trying to win her forgiveness.

However on Saturday night, Cheryl appeared on The X Factor without her wedding band. Cheryl had merely forgotten to put it on after washing her hands, according to a source from the show.
