New Mexico Soccer Player Suspended: Elizabeth Lambert Sorry

Female soccer player Elizabeth Lambert has been the topic of many soccer fans conversations recently, after a video of her yanking a rival player to the ground by her hair, managed to find its way onto the YouTube website.

According to thesun.co.uk, the college women’s player lost her rag quite a bit recently, while playing for the University of New Mexico, against Brigham Young University. Lambert was seen kicking and punching her opponents.

But it appears that Elizabeth has apologized for her appalling behavior. She was believed to have said, “I am deeply and wholeheartedly regretful for my actions.” She then went on to say that her actions were uncalled for.

    She should never be allowed to play again. She knew exactly what she was doing since she REPEATEDLY assaulted the other players.

    I agree with Amy. As a soccer coach, I would never allow a player with that type of aggression to play. I don’t care who else allows it, it’s unsportsman-like. Although I do not advocate this type of untoward aggression in sports, if I were any of the girls she’s ever assaulted, my teammates would have had to hold me back because I would have beaten the living sh1t out of her if she ever pulled that mess on me.

    This girl is a “Mike Tyson” to the soccer world. NEVER should she be allowed to play again. She is the type of individual who is a menace to society. I hope these comments really get to her. She really should be advised to seek some serious counseling.
