X Factor 2009: Danyl Johnson’s New Look

After Danyl Johnson found himself in the bottom two a couple of weeks ago, the “X Factor” contestant had his confidence knocked a bit. And it still showed in last week’s show. But it appeared that Danyl had his confidence back, on this past Saturday’s show.
The 27-year old teacher was even sporting a new haircut as well. According to mirror.co.uk, Danyl told his mentor Simon Cowell, that he wanted to shave his head, to look a bit tougher. But Simon apparently put his foot down and refused to let him do it.
But Danyl went against Simon Cowell’s advice and shaved his head anyway. After he had finished performing Prince’s “Purple Rain,” he asked the judges if they liked his new haircut. Cheryl said that she liked it and Simon just praised his performance.

Although I DO miss the old, much cuter haircut, he said he wanted to start fresh. Everyone has their own way of doing so, and that’s Danyl’s.
