Singer Britney Spears may have only performed two shows of her “Circus Tour” in Australia, but she is already the center of some controversy. When the reviews of her shows in Perth started to come in, they were negative.
Some critics even complained, about the fact that Britney lip-synchs during some of her performances. But even though her lip-synching isn’t a secret to American audiences, it caused a bit of a stir Down Under.

Australia’s “WA Today,” even described Britney Spears’ first of 14 concerts as “heavy on miming and light on audience interaction.” They then went on to say, that the singer quite often had her back to a lot of the crowd.
The tour’s promoter Paul Dainty said that Britney is aware of all of this and she’s extremely upset by it. He then went on to say that he was embarrassed to be part of the Australian media, when he sees such totally inaccurate reporting.
