Everything that the Denver Broncos done that worked so well for the first few weeks of the season, has abandoned them. Broncos lost their second game in a row with a 28-10 defeat to Pittsburgh on Monday at Invesco Field at Mile High.
It seems the offense can’t find the end zone, and the defense has shown some vulnerability. However it seems Broncos strong point over the last few weeks, was that they dominated the second half, but last night the Broncos were pummeled in the second half. Denver couldn’t move the ball after halftime gaining only 59 yards and the defense had a hard time getting off the field.
Receiver Jabar Gaffney said “the players maintained their confidence. We’re disappointed with the two losses, but we’re not down. We’re still in first place, have a chance to do some good things. There’s a long season to go. We all know that.” The Steelers had 199 yards in the third quarter but scored only seven.
