The Vampire Diaries: Sean Faris to Join Cast

If you thought that there weren’t enough hunky male actors on “The Vampire Diaries,” then you will be pleased to know that another hunk is getting thrown into the mix. According to buddytv.com, model-turned-actor Sean Faris is all set to join the cast.

Although they are trying to keep Faris’ role under wraps, a show insider did apparently let on that 27-year old Sean is going to play a character called Ben, who will be an ex-high school football star-turned-bartender, at the Mystic Grill.

With Faris being added to “The Vampire Diaries” cast now, it may hint of a possible romance between his character Ben and one of the show’s female characters. Could he be another to fall in line next to Damon and Stefan for Elena’s heart perhaps?
