It has been an absolutely awful year for actor John Travolta and his family, as they have had the extortion trial in the Bahamas to deal with. But the “Grease” star was able to put on a happy face for talk show host Ellen DeGeneres yesterday.
John Travolta, who was joined by his 9-year old daughter Ella Bleu, sat an interview yesterday, on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which according to eonline.com will air tomorrow (Thursday). This is Travolta’s first interview since his son Jett’s death.

To kick off his interview, John said “I just want to take one moment to thank each and every one of you throughout this country, throughout the world, for all your support and all your love for our family.” He then went on to say thank you very much.
Travolta spoke about Ella’s good work alongside him on the “Old Dogs” movie, which also stars Robin Williams, Seth Green and Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston. John was obviously the proud dad, saying at one stage that he was holding back the tears.
