The Indian cricket team took on the Sri Lankan cricket team today, in day 1 of the first cricket test match. And India’s Rahul Dravid, lived up to all test cricket fans’ expectations, when he played a great innings against Sri Lanka.
And according to samaylive.com, today’s innings were special for Rahul, who has been described as a skilled batsman, as he managed to complete 11,000 test runs in cricket, thanks to the help of the 177 runs that he scored in today’s match.
India started off the match poorly, but Dravid was on the crease along with Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Both then gained their momentum and gradually started hitting the bowl. Things then turned around and went in India’s favour.
