Kobe Bryant Groin Injury: Lakers vs. Rockets

It has been revealed that Kobe Bryant has a groin injury according to Lakers coach Phil Jackson; Bryant missed 15 of 20 shots as Lakers loss 101-91 to the Houston Rockets on Sunday night.

Officially the Lakers are calling it a strained right groin muscle. The best treatment for groin injuries is rest, but when Bryant was asked if he would sit out any games to speed the recovery he said, “Absolutely not.” Bryant injured it at the beginning of the game against New Orleans on Nov. 8.

It does seem convenient to let the word of the injury get out now after two poor shooting games. The Lakers have a busy stretch ahead with four home games in seven days, starting Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons.

Bryant and Gasol have been Lakers busiest participants in international competition and now both are suffering from wear-and-tear injuries. To read more on this story go to espn.go.com.

Kobe always has an excuse when he has a bad game. He can’t man up when it comes time to admit loosing becuase of his lack of shooting in a game. Maybe when he has an off night he could pass the ball to his teammates, he knows he has those right? I hope this is the start of a bad season for the Lakers and any team smacks them from their you can’t foul us, we never foul you, high horse they sit on.
