Monday Night Football analyst agrees to multiyear extension

It looks like it is good news for ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” analyst and former NFL coach Jon Gruden, as he has just agreed to a multi-year extension with the popular network. Jon only joined ESPN in September, to replace Tony Kornheiser.

According to reports from espn.go.com, Gruden will not only appear in the MNF booth, but he will also appear on ESPN’s Super Bowl week and NFL Draft coverage. He will also call the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl and will be serving as an analyst for ESPN Radio.

In a recent statement, Jon Gruden said that working with the entire “Monday Night Football” team is the most fun he has had in years. He then went on to say that he is fired up now, to make it a long-term commitment to the ESPN network.
