Star Trek 2009 Movie: Review Roundup

I can’t say that I am a “Star Trek” fan myself, but I do know a few people that are and the ones that went to the cinema to see the 2009 “Star Trek” movie, which is due out on DVD and blu-ray now, said that it was a really good film.

And it looks like a lot of other people are saying the same. The review at blogcritics.org, says that the movie exceeded all their expectations and that director J.J. Abrams managed to update the series without erasing memories of the original.

Now let’s look at the review on trekweb.com. They go along the same lines as the previous review, saying that the new “Star Trek” movie is nothing but pure surprise and visual excitement and they say that the humor is spot on.

Finally, we take a look at a review from dvdtown.com. They described “Star Trek” as one of the most entertaining movies they had seen in 2009. They too compliment the young cast, which includes Zachary Quinto from “Heroes.”
