It looks like remakes of classical TV series, is a done thing lately. First we had the remake of “Melrose Place,” then we had the remake of “V,” which is about alien visitors, and now it appears that we have the reimagined version of the 1967 classic “The Prisoner.”
In the original, Patrick McGoohan starred as the agent who was taken to the Village and became known as Six. But in the new version of “The Prisoner, which premiered on November 15th,” the nightmare state has been replaced with the nightmare corporation.

Jim Caviezel stars as an analyst for Summakor, which is a company the collects surveillance data. After he quits his job, Michael (Caviezel) wakes to find himself in a strange desert. He is lost and doesn’t appear to have a lot of memories of his past.
He then finds his way to the Village, where he meets the leader Two, who is played by Ian McKellen. According to time.com, the new series of seems to keep some of the original’s hallmarks, including Rover, which is a balloon-like orb that patrols the Village.
