Ashlee Simpson-Wentz: From Melrose Place to Broadway

Actress, singer and songwriter Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, who is the younger sister of singer Jessica Simpson, may well have got axed from “Melrose Place” recently, but things appear to be looking up for her still.

According to people.com, Ashlee has just confirmed the recent rumors, which suggested she was heading to Broadway. The 25-year old star is returning to her role as Roxie Hart in the successful revival of Chicago.

Ashlee, who is said to be starting as from November 30th, says that she is honored to be reprising the role as Chicago’s Roxie Hart. She went on to say that being on Broadway, is a childhood dream come true for her.
