Dancing With the Stars 2009: November 17 Results

As many of you will know, it was the semi-finals live results show of the popular dance competition series “Dancing with the Stars” last night. And of course, that meant that another couple had to unfortunately be eliminated.
And as it was the semi-finals this week, we were only down to the last four couples, who danced their feet off on Monday night, in the hope of getting through to next week’s final. But the four had to be narrowed down to three.
According to television.aol.com, Mya had the top scores of Monday night, Donny Osmond appears to have the biggest fan base and Kelly Osbourne has possibly captured the young audience, which only left Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough.
So unfortunately for Joanna and Derek, they were the ones that got eliminated from last night’s show. When speaking about her appearance on the show, Joanna said that she feels really blessed to have had the opportunity.

You have lost our views as well as many others I spoke with. First Sabrina, now Joanna Krupa! Time to change the rules…this is NOT a popularity contest…I thought it was a dance contest!!!!! Kelly or Donny should have left, not Joanna. Why not give audience only 25% of the vote…not 50%!! It’s totally unfair!!!
This is totally unfair. She should have been in the finals. She was obviously more talented than most of the others. You are so right. This is turning into a popularity contest and talent is not what most people are considering. Such a shame. These people work themselves so hard to get the dances down and then are judged by an audience who has no idea of the criteria of each dance. This is a good way to lose viewers.
As soon as I saw Hugh Hefner on the Mon show, eventhough I didn’t know the connection (which I think I’ve since learned), I thought oh, oh, there go some votes. Yes, Joanna was one of the 2 best, and I agree that an adjustment of the rules should be looked at, so it’s not solely a popularity contest as to who moves on
Wow…something strange is going on here! It looks to me like this show is fixed with special favoritism to Kelly Osbourne who definitely should have left the show weeks ago. This show should be about talent, not popularity.
Why was Carry Ann making such bad comments about Mya and Joanna and raving about Kelly??? I don’t get it. And why was Joanna crying after her last performance? She knew she was leaving…and it was all predetermined. I’ve lost my interest in watching this show!!

I really used to enjoy watching this show but the politics and favoritism shown to certain people is disgusting. You have just lost two more viewers. Last year you favored the fat woman who had been in a Broadway show. This year it’s the Osbourne woman who is really good a whining and complaining. But, hey, come on whom are you trying to fool? you are telling me that Derek and Joanna were below the Kelly Osbourne results. Balderdash! Osbourne wouldn’t know

Strike two, for DWTS, one more mesup like this and I’m out.
They’ve lost me as well…the judges claim to stick to one standard, so even if someone is injured, they cannot give any leeway. Yet Mya was held to a different standard from Day 1…and then when Donnie performed a middle-of-the-road, schlocky free-style with no straight legs and no pointed feet, they give HIM a 30…huh? All three judges were down on Dmitri from the start, and clearly directed to fawn over Donnie. Obviously this is just another dance show all pre-determined and rigged by the producers. Sad…
Besides my wife and myself including a number of our friends we are about finished watching your show.We thought it was about dancing NOT A POPULARITY SHOW I think if you don’t change how winners a picked your show is going to lose a lot of viewers!!!!!
