John and Edward: Are they cheating?

As we mentioned in a previous post yesterday, there appears to have been a bit of controversy surrounding ITV’s “The X Factor” recently, and it involves Irish twins John and Edward Grimes (Jedward) and a cheating row.

After singing Queen’s “Under Pressure” on Saturday night’s performance show, the judges praised them on their improved singing. But according to telegraph.co.uk, technicians from the show claim that they were told to turn down the boys microphones.

John and Edward: Are they cheating?

This was apparently so they could mask John and Edward’s voices, with the backing tracks. One source said it was outrageous and said that it was cheating. The only time the sound levels were changed, was said to be when they rapped.

So we decided to do a quick poll and ask you guys what you think. Do you really think that John and Edward are cheating?

    These lads are very entertaining and i am actually starting to love them, i look forward to seeing them at the weekend. However i do believe they are on the wrong show, but i don’t think they can win so i dont see the problem in them staying in the competition they are having fun and they are getting better!!,, At the end of the day they are only 17 year old lads living there dream, its actually quite sad with the crap they get, and when the crowd boo’s them, i loved it when the crowd last weekend were chanting “jedward” it was lovely. I do hope they go on to be entertainers on kids shows or something and i do think they will be successfull entertainers, good luck to them :)
