Director J.J. Abrams, who is the man behind the new “Star Trek” movie, has been speaking out recently about the movie and where to go from here with a sequel. Yes folks, it appears that he is already thinking of a sequel to the blockbuster hit.
And according to trektoday.com, Abrams has admitted that the next “Star Trek” movie needs to go a little deeper. The first movie was more about getting to know the new crew, and to watch the characters meeting and then coming together.

Abrams believes that the way to move forward with “Star Trek,” is to retain the sense of fun, excitement and adventure, but at the same time go a bit deeper. But then again, Abrams says that he doesn’t want it turning into a “preachy” film.
