Jimmy Smith Gets Six Months House Arrest For Drugs Bust

NFL legend Jimmy Smith, who used to play for the Jacksonville Jaguars, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine yesterday. And according to reports from tmz.com, he was then sentenced to spend the next six months under house arrest.

The former NFL star was arrested in Florida, back in April this year. The cops originally pulled him over for having excessive window tinting, but then they found coke, pot and other drug paraphernalia in his car.

As long as Smith plays by the rules now, the other three charges that he was facing – using or possessing drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle with a suspended license and possession of marijuana, will all be dropped.
