MTV Acquire Rights To Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’

The music channel that first brought Michael Jackson into our homes that turned him into a global superstar, when they decided to go against the grain and show his ‘Beat It’ video, have acquired the rights to be the first television network to show Michael Jackson’s final performance; This Is It.
It is not yet known when the documentary-film will be available to watch on the box, but sister channels of the MTV music group, VH1, BET and Palladia also have rights to show the spectacle.
The movie, which turned out to be a box-office blockbuster managed to rake in a gross of over $200 worldwide, with the majority of Europe setting most of the trends.
