Janet Jackson’s 2009 American Music Awards performance yesterday may not have been the most shocking of the night, but it can certainly be classed as the most heartfelt and emotional, with the 43-year old singer playing tribute to her brother Michael.
According to associatedcontent.com, Janet made several shout-outs and tributes to her late brother Michael, during last night’s performance. The songs she performed included her 1989 hit “Miss You Much” and another great hit “Together Again.”

Janet’s performance lasted a whole 7 minutes, proving that even though she is 43-years old, she still has the stamina to perform. Janet also proved that despite the sadness that she has suffered this year, that she could still entertain the masses.
