American Music Awards 2009: Jennifer Lopez Takes a Fall

As we mentioned in a post earlier today, the 2009 American Music Awards took place in Los Angeles last night. And whenever you get an awards ceremony, you always get some memorable performances to go with it.

And besides the very memorable performance from Adam Lambert at the end of the show, there was another memorable performance from Jennifer Lopez, who took to the stage to perform the first song off her new album.

It was during Jennifer’s performance of “Louboutins,” which is off the “Love?” album, that the singer took a bit of a fall. Halfway through the song, Lopez climbed onto the backs of the backing dancers, where she was to jump off.

Once Jennifer was at the top, she went to jump off but missed her footing. She then slipped on the floor and fell. According to gather.com, she quickly recovered to finish her performance, but was clearly disappointed.
