Miley Cyrus Gets Surprise Party For 17th Birthday

Disney’s “Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus, who turns 17 today (Monday 23rd November), celebrated her birthday in style last week, with an ‘80’s themed birthday party at New York City’s Canal Room and surrounded by friends and family.

And according to people.com, a source that is said to be close to Miley Cyrus, said that the whole party was a surprise. The singer, who was joined by her rumored boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, blew out the candles on a custom-designed cake by Buddy Valastro.

Miley also got treated to a performance by the cast of Broadway’s “Rock of Ages.” The ‘80’s theme is something that Miley should know well, as she was said to have had an ‘80’s themed party in her hometown of Nashville, for her 15th birthday as well.
