The Next Iron Chef Season 2: Jose Garces Wins

Last night was the very final episode of “The Next Iron Chef” season 2 and of course, a winner had to be chosen. And if you have been watching the show for the last eight weeks, you will know that the final was between Jose Garces and Jehangir Mehta.

The final challenge, which featured in last night’s episode, saw the two finalists competing in a traditional head-to-head Iron Chef battle. According to buddytv.com, the secret ingredients that were featured in this challenge were racks and ribs.

Both chefs tried hard to impress the judges, with Garces flaunting his technical expertise while Mehta utilized his creativity. But it was Jose Garces that impressed the most, therefore being crowned the winner and who will now appear on “Iron Chef America.”
