How I Met Your Mother Season 5: Recap of Episode 9

It was Thanksgiving in last night’s episode of “How I Met Your Mother,” which was called “Slapsgiving 2: Revenge of the Slap.” And Lily’s father, who was apparently dead in her eyes, turned up just in time for the Thanksgiving celebrations.

Marshall and Lily were hosting the Thanksgiving celebrations in last night’s episode and it definitely didn’t go without its drama, when Lily’s father Mickey turned up at the apartment unannounced. But Lily was unaware that Marshall had invited him.

And as a thank you for them finding his 22-pound turkey, Marshall bequeathed the fourth slap in the Slap Bet to Ted and Robin. After plenty of arguing amongst themselves and the slap being passed around, Marshall was the one that slapped Barney.
