Michael Jackson’s Captain EO To Be Re-Released In 3D

Disneyland are set to revive Michael Jackson’s Captain EO, an film-attraction that was released after ‘Thriller’ in Disneyland, produced by ‘Star Wars’ legend George Lucas, and directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

In a strange turn around due to the singers death, and popular revival since his ‘This Is It’ concert-film was released, Disneyland are bringing the return of Captain EO, a 3D film starring Michael Jackson himself, Anjelica Huston, and Dick Shawn. Shawn died less than a year after its release.

Captain EO was also pulled from Disneyland screens a few years ago, but they are now thinking about going gung-ho, with a premiere and red carpet included. The film see’s Michael Jackson sing and dance, and perform a rarely heard song “We Are Here to Change the World.”

You can view some of the film in the link below, albeit less attractive than the 3D version that will be re-released by Disney.
