The Brit awards get Jay-Z

Shawn Corey Carter better known as Jay-Z, has reportedly agreed to perform a medley of his hits, at the Brit’s 30th anniversary Awards in February. The rapper headlined Glastonbury Festival in 2008.
The Run This Town rapper is expected to be joined on stage by Alicia Keys, Chris Martin or Beyoncé. A source told The Sun “Jay-Z is confirmed as one of the key performers, in weak years there have been problems securing the big international artists. But knowing Jay-Z is there will help to secure other big acts now.”
Jay-Z has sold over 30 million copies of his albums in the United States alone and receiving several Grammy Awards for his musical work. Jay-Z has recently announced the dates, for the second leg of his Blueprint 3 tour. The Brit Awards takes place at London’s Earls Court on February 16, Robbie Williams is expected to end the show after collecting the Outstanding Contribution To Music’ award.
