Dancing with the Stars: Whitney Houston Owned the Stage

When pop-diva Whitney Houston performed at Sunday night’s 2009 American Music Awards, she captivated the audience. And she may just have done that last night as well, when she gave not one but two performances on the “Dancing with the Stars” finale.

Whitney, who was wearing a one-shoulder sheath dress, kicked off the night’s festivities, by performing her new single “Million Dollar Bill.” And the re-born diva appeared to own the stage during her performance, proving she may still have it.

For her second performance, Houston sang her 1980’s hit “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” which was very appropriate for a dancing competition. And while she was performing, the professional dancers took to the floor, for some performing of their own.
