X Factor contestants sing Take That and Elton John

This weekend see’s the remaining contestants sing to big numbers. TV Biz has revealed the remaining acts must learn a song by Take That and one of Elton John’s classics. However neither act will mentor the contestants.

Simon Cowell has again opted to do without a mentor for the second week in a row. A source to the show said, “the plan is for the acts to do one up tempo number and a slower one to show off both sides of their voices. Learning two songs is killing them”

Some of the tracks being practiced include Take That’s Relight My Fire and Elton’s Rocket Man. This week will see a different lay out because, this weekend will be the toughest yet, the acts are at the viewers’ mercy. Simon and the remaining judges can voice their opinion but cant vote.
