ABC’s Good Morning America canceled Adam Lambert appearance, as we have mentioned in a previous post, now CBS’s The Early Show who added the star has found itself in hot water.
The early show is in trouble because they showed the clip of Lambert’s American Music Awards performance in which his kiss with a male keyboardist was intentionally blurred out. Then straight after The Early Show aired unedited footage of Madonna and Britney Spears locking lips.
The President of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, Jarrett Barrios issued a statement: “The Early Show’s decision this morning to blur Adam Lambert’s kiss from the American Music Awards reinforces an unfortunate double standard that is applied to openly gay performers.”
In response EW.com received a statement from an Early Show representative in which it states “We gave this some real thought. The Madonna image is very familiar and has appeared countless times including many times on morning television. The Adam Lambert image is a subject of great current controversy, has not been nearly as widely disseminated, and for all we know, may still lead to legal consequences.”

When you give homosexuals an inch, they will take a mile, all the while propogandizing you with the “Gay is okay” schpiel. The AMA/Adam Lambert thing only reinforces this fact.
And I find it amazing that homosexuals take the path of most resistance, trying to convince the world that homosexuality is okay. From a scientific standpoint (for procreation purposes), homosexuality is an aberration, as it is impossible for two people of the same sex to produce offspring.
Combine science’s saying homosexuality is wrong with morality’s homosexuality is wrong, and you know what they say – two wrongs don’t make a right.
CBS is acting appropriately and carefully, love them cause they gave Adam a chance post AMA, they stood up for Adam and then the Gay groups are bashing them, enough already!!!! geezzzzzz
A 100 % agree with the Joe. Enjoy nthe freedoms you DO HAVE. God forbid, If the Nazi’s had won WWII Adam would be a dog treat.
BRAVO – CBS for giving ADAM LAMBERT THE TIME TO TALK AND DO WHAT HE GOES BEST SING AND PREFORM. SHAME ABC FOR SHUNNING ADAM WHO YOU ACCEPTED BEFORE TO BOOST YOUR RATING. THE BLURRED KISS SHOWS CBS WAS ACKNOWLEDGING THE DOUBLE STANDARD. GIVE IT UP WHAT IS OUR PROBLEM AS A PEOPLE.
