Sir Paul McCartney one of the stars of the FAB four from Liverpool, revealed that he often gets emotional when he performs songs that remind him of The Beatles and his late wife Linda.
Sir Paul kicks off his European tour in Germany on December 2, has said that he isn’t worried about shedding a few tears on stage, when he thinks about his former band mates.
McCartney said “You are in contact with them again through the songs. In a way I’m revisiting them. It’s sad and emotional, I couldn’t have done it when I was 18-years-old because I would not have allowed myself to cry or go anywhere near that stuff. But now it’s OK. I’m used to it.”
The 67-year-old star also mentioned that he would struggle to choose a favorite track from The Beatle’s back catalogue. He went on to say “I always say your songs are like your babies. You don’t want to have a favorite. But I suppose Maybe I’m Amazed.”
Sir Paul releases his album Good Evening New York City on December 14. What is your favorite Beatles song? Mine has to be Hey Jude. Let us know your thoughts.
