Still the future of The Pussycat Dolls is unclear, amid reports of a messy split, as we recently reported. The group, have been hounded by rumors they are on the verge of disbanding due to arguments between lead singer Nicole Scherzinger and the rest of the group.
The Dolls announced in September they were on a break while they followed solo projects, but now it’s believed they’ve thrown in the towel. According to New York Post an insider told them, “It is war; they have broken up for good.”
The insider went on to say “None of the other girls are speaking to Nicole, who they believe took the limelight, and then went off to do her own thing.” The girl band’s founder Robin Antin, who is releasing a Pussycat Dolls’ fitness DVD next month, has tried to play down the rumors. “The Pussycat Dolls are very much alive and there is no truth to the silent treatment statements,” she insisted.
