Thousand people expected at Stephen Gately’s tribute

After the death of Boyzone star Stephen Gately in October of this year, a tribute concert will reportedly take place in London later today. It is believed over a thousand friends and family members are expected to attend.
The concert is expected to take place at the Palace Theatre event, and has been planned by the late Boyzone star’s partner Andrew Cowles. Christopher Biggins will host the private memorial, and will include readings, songs and tributes.
Stars such as Sir Ian McKellen, Beverley Knight, Liz McClarnon, Lee Ryan, Chesney Hawkes, Cherie Blair, Paul O’Grady, Matt Lucas, Graham Norton and Alan Carr are expected to attend. The remaining members of Boyzone are expected to pay a musical tribute. The Irish star, died of natural causes at the age of 33 at his holiday home on the island of Majorca.
