ABC are to review their performance procedures after Adam Lambert drastically changed his rehearsal plans, and took part in an ’sexually charged act’ during the American Music Awards last week.
The ‘For Your Entertainment’ star has recently admitted that he probably ‘went to far,’ when he kissed a male dancer and simulated oral sex onstage with a backup dancer.
This caused a flood of complaints from viewers, to which the network had to edit the shows highlights to make it suitable for the West Coast airing. Adam Lambert was immediately struck off the Good Morning America show which aired a few days later, which lead to more controversy.
ABC Network President has now released a statement issuing that they may have to lock performers in a contract bound to the network, which stipulates that their rehearsals must ‘mirror’ their live performances.
